An EMS continually protects against not only surges, but also low voltage. In ten years, I’ve never experienced a surge, but I have been in parks with low voltage several times, always after initially setting up. Usually in the hottest part of the day when everyone has their ACs going. I’d recommend the EMS.

Susan, Here's a recent discussion on this forum about using a surge protector or EMS, this may help with your decision. We use an EMS.
