Starting problems

New to the forum, so forgive me if this has been discussed before. New owner of 2003 Itasca Sunova with Ford v10. Got the unit home from a 400 mi trip and parked it. Tried to start the next morning and no crank. I have power to the switch, a click at the relay, but no power to the starter solenoid. Any ideas?

Have you checked the battery voltage? Checked the battery terminals and the connection of the battery negative cable at the other end?

Does your MH have the ability to supplement the starter battery with the house batteries? Usually that works the other way to start the generator, but I don't know of any reason it wouldn't work the opposite direction. A connection is a connection, right?

So - I just pulled the fuse to the solenoid and replaced it - It did not look blown, but the new fuse fixed the issue. Bizarre - but it is fixed - back on the road!!

I might think this is a point to be a bit more than normally aware as this may be a situation which comes back.

I was sort of thinking the same thing. It may be a very annoying intermittent problem. Let's hope not, but if it is try to remember the conditions in which it occurs.
