Replacing with LEDs

Hey everyone,
I'm wanting to replace all my electrical with LEDs. Can someone recommend a good place to buy from?
Thanks,
Joe

eBay has worked for me

Hi -
I've replaced all the incandescent bulbs in multiple rigs with bulbs that I found on eBay.
You'll need to get the correct style of bulb; some screw in, some push in, and so on. Also - there are many options for color. The 'lower' the number (expressed in 'k') the more 'yellow' the light, the higher the number, the cooler or more 'blue' colored. 6000k looks blue to my eyes, for example. Much depends on the coach and what kind of lighting works best for you.
I know there are many who don't like the products that come from China, but I've never been disappointed with any of the LED products that I've purchased. Of course, that is just my opinion....
eBay is a good place to start looking even if you don't purchase there.

You can find some types on Amazon, at Camping World, etc. There is also a website called "M4Products" that sells RV bulbs and lighting.

Do it! LEDs aren’t expensive, easy to install, cool and save lots of power. Matching the base is simple. Mine are all done except fridge. Consider warm white.

M4Products hands down best customer service I've ever experienced. We had three double tube ceiling fixtures and another over the sink which we replaced with their LED fluorescent replacements. Our older coach has a bunch of those swivel fixtures with the bayonet style bulbs that cast a nice light, so we left all 8 of them in. We replaced all the small bulbs in the ceiling fixtures with warm LEDs from Amazon. We needed a lot of those -- 8 in compartments, plus 7 inside in various places. And two porch lights. For the compartment lights we got cheap ones and never had a problem. For the two porch lights we used fairly expensive SuperBrightLED bulbs from their website. The remainder like the shower and the toilet closet have middle of the road cost bulbs. There are several vanity bulbs surrounding my mirror over the sink. You'll have to pry those out of my cold dead hands. But I only use them long enough to put on makeup. When we are dry camping we use LED exclusively and don't use any of the incandescent except the vanity bulbs. I tried the LED vanity bulbs and hated them. Too dim and too harsh and very pricey.

I guess my point is this - put your money where you need the best clear clean white light and used the cheap made in China bulbs in the compartments.

Yes sir. We replaced all lighting in our 2007 Winnebago Adventurer 38J with purchases from Joe Brignola owner of Cabin Bright. He is easy to work with, answers the phone if you have a problem, and will replace any lighting that fails to work. He has his office in Lebanon, Ohio, and his phone number is (513) 899-9152. Tell him Jordan sent you and he may give me a break on my next purchase.

I replaced all bulbs on my 2012 Sightseer Previous comments have been good. I purchased from M4 Products and been very pleased. Bulbs are cooler so don’t need to worry about getting too hot if left on. Last longer and somewhat cheaper.

I find that 3000K is a reasonable incandescent bulb color temperature. Personally, I lke 2700K but in the kitchen 3500-4000 is good. To me 6000K is way, way to strident bluish white.

Yes CabinBright.com I met Joe at a show in Tampa and he's very knowledgeable, has no problem answering emails and has a wide range of products. If I remember correctly, he tests each unit before sending out. Check his website.

I’ve found strong drink can be mixed well with both 2700k and 3000k lighting.

I used SuperBrightLeds.com years ago, and they were helpful, responded quickly to email inquiries, had an easy to use incandescent bulb style/number to LED style/number converter page, and the prices seemed reasonable to me back in 2008-09.

Any other products made in China you’d like to disparage? Tires are a frequent target.

If I'm not mistaken, all LEDs come from Red china.
There is no factory here, but I see the need for one.

Cheap LEDs might not have the tolerance for the fluctuating DC voltage range in an RV, so be careful what you buy. Here's some info on this issue:

I couldn't get your link to open.
But it would seem that if you got the LEDs that would work with a dimmer, they would be fine.
