Replacing Lead Acid Batteries With LiFePO4 Battery

2000 Winnebago Adventurer 32v. Replaced two lead acid with fully charged 12v300ah lifepo4. Within seconds of turning on coach power, 30a breaker trips. Why?

Greetings jetskilife,
Lifepo4 batteries require a special charger. Your 2000 Adventurer was designed to charge lead-acid batteries. I suspect the Lifepo4 batteries are drawing too much current for a specific voltage, but I am not totally sure. Many others on this forum are well versed in Lifepo4 batteries, and I am sure some will chime-in with their real-world experience.
Welcome to the forum.

Thanks Eagle 5.

Battery was fully charged. Replaced converter/charger and needed to cycle charger. All is good.

ALL Battery Technologies only Offer there Ah they are Capable/Rated of Supplying !

You can have a 600Ah LiFePO4 or 600Ah Super Capacitors Energy storage.
If you have a 1W Globe or a heavy draw Starter motor or Inverter ...the Energy Storage will ONLY releases the Power the individual items Draw.

I suspect if you are Blowing a 30A Fuse as what ever you are Using is Drawing is Greater that 30A.

NB Everyone using multiple Battery Configuration SHOULD be Drawing Negative from the First Battery & Positive from the Last Battery !

This is something I find a lot of people Think it is better to Draw Power from one Battery ! The problem doing that you are Over working the first Battery as the Power in NOT equally Drawing from all the Batteries in the String.
