Replacement Bulb for Reading Lights 2002 Adventurer

We have a 2002 Adventurer. I am trying to find a replacement bulb for the 12V reading lights. We have 4 on the left side of the coach, 1 on the right (over the recliner) and 2 over the bed. The old bulb reads CEC 1383 TAIWAN. I have ordered from Amazon two sets that claim replacement for 1383, neither fit. One was too small the other too large, Does anyone know the correct number bulb and where I might find them? Photo attached.

They seem to be pretty proud of them! Have you thought about the advantage of switching to LED for less power used and less heat?

We find E-bay is the place to buy LED for the widest variety and much better pricing. But we also find we get picky about the color and brightness of the light and like different light in different places. That means we often try an order before redoing a whole bunch as a way to test what we actually see.
With the free shipping, I like to look at it without costing more to order twice!

Scroll through the details on the listing for some size measurements and if you go way down to the bootm, they have a ton of other options for different choice.

In the world of bulb identification you have a Single Contact (SC) Bayonet base 12 volt. There are many different incandescent and LEDs made with this base but be sure to order from somewhere where they show the actual measurements.

They also have a few in LED. All your measurements are there and they have live US support by phone.

BTW when looking at bulbs (or lamps as professionals call them) the numbers always tell us something, in the case of the one I linked it is an R-12 with the "R" meaning "reflector" which is important because it reduces heat in the fixture socket area and the 12 means it measures 12/8ths of an inch across at it's widest point, or 1.5".

Those LEDs Richard linked look promising as well.

If I can remember I'll go look at one of my old halogen bulbs like your picture and make another reply.

Use the number on the base to buy LED replacements, they do not produce nearly as much heat nor use as much battery power when off-grid.We really like our brilliant white reading bulbs, but you can buy them with a light yellow tint too..

Kelvin (K) is the rating for color of the light. At 5000K you get near hostital white and then the lower the number like 3200K you begin to get more light an incandesecent , more reddish tone.

In my RV I replaced all the incandescent reading bulbs with the following 3200K LED bulbs. I love them and they work perfectly. The bulb holders stay cool and can be easily moved after the LED bulbs have been on for some time (unlike incandescent bulbs).

I replaced all the 12v bulbs in our RV with LEDs from https://m4products.com/. They have plenty of options for all types of bulbs found in RVs.
