Rear Speakers

I just purchased a used View 24 K and can not get the rear, premium, speakers to come on. The outside speakers come on when I engage the "C" button, but nothing happens when I hit the "A" or "B" buttons. Any ideas. I'm convinced that it is simple and that I've overlooked something. Thanks in advance.
