Power to Microwave?
I have the electrical circuit print for my 2002, Sightseer 27 ..but I cannot seem to find a breaker panel as I have at home? I have plenty of 12v.
'Perhaps, is this an item that only functions with the genset running? I am hooked to shorepower but still cannot get the microwave to engage.

Hmmmm.... the microwave worked? I had shore power connected, but it appears it pop'd a breaker in the shop - no idea how long ago. I started the generator, the microwave circuit went dead.
I read it is better to load the generator, so I turned on the A/C. That stayed on for a bit...
The only other 110v indicator was an active green light on the frig. I will bring in a non-contact tester from home.

You most likely have a GFI that has popped check your GFI for the kitchen.

Here's the Body, 110 Volt Wiring Diagram for your coach. Chapter 6 of the Operator's Manual for your coach describes where you can find your circuit breakers.

Are you saying the circuit breakers are not located where they are shown in chapter 6 of the manual Chris gave you?
I think that location is on the wall by the entry steps.

Ya, Al... The print is an easy read. The circuits are pretty simple. I simply do not know where the breakers/fuses are. Here's pic of the entry with the other electrics. There is nothing forward of that along the wall on the co-pilot's side. ..nor in the kitchen cabinet area. There's a area outside the crapper with Gen and Heat/AC controls ...not fuses.

On my Vectra they are at the foot of the bed on the wood bed frame. You might also check the bin where you plug in. Just a thought.

Page 3 of the Body, 110 Volt Wiring Installation diagram for your coach indicates that the 'Load Center' is at the floor level under the pantry to the right of the stove. That's where the breakers should be.

Oh, Jeez... Chris, I was about to say; "t'ain't-in'eny-cab'net!" But, there was this 'heater looking' thing down there... I have been walking by it the whole time. ..opening doors and drawers (?) Dumb c'hit.
Now that I know there are no breaker issues.. at least I have a start. Thanks again.

Also check the cicuit breakers built into the generator as many have two breakers and split the load up so the Air Conditioner and High Draw Appliances are not on the same field of the generator so its possible that one breaker on the generator has tripped.
Indeed check every GFI in the coach since they can be daisy chained in a manner you may not suspect however also verify that you simply do not have a dead microwave as it would not be unusual for a 17 year old microwave to have given up the ghost. You should be able to find where the power cord for the microwave plugs in so you can test that outlet and if you find power there it will likely be time to shop for a new microwave oven. Home Depot has for years carried the same size microwave Winnebago originally put in the coaches back at the turn of the century which is a low wattage unit compared to other convection microwaves of that size. A full power home unit may stress the wiring so caution is advised when you need to select a replacement.

Wow, Neil, thanks... That's a 'load' of good information. (print/save) Cheers.
