Correct, the AC was close to$400. I now have it plugged into a20 amp circuit with a12 gauge cord directly to the AC unit. It is working but only able to lower the temp to 80 with the bedroom and bath closed off. I am in full sun and 95 exterior temp so it's helping but... Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
