We leave our plugged in all the time...just make sure you check the battery water level, as there have been some bad converters that have boiled out the water....

Drive off while still plugged in?

I resemble that remark. More than once too.

Memory must fade for all of us with age. I to have driven with cord pluged in. Pulled wiring loose and took some fixing. So far only did it once. DW now insists I go thru a strict routine before moving. All said we still hope to MH until we can know longer drive.

You don't say what model you have however you need to establish if your engine batteries are being charged while plugged in. Many (most?)Winne models do not have the ability to charge engine batteries while plugged in.

If you have one of these you need to add a device to charge your engine battery like a Trik-L-Start. If you do not then the engine batteries will go flat somewhat quickly while plugged in.

I think if you do a search for Trik-L-Start you will find a lot of info about the choices you have to maintain your engine batteries whbile plugged in. We have had a Trik-L-Start for 6 years and are very happy with it but ther are other similar units which work just as well

Yep--drove right off while plugged in at my house. Violated not one, but two cardinal rules of RV'ing. I got in a hurry, and I did not do my normal walkaround before moving the coach. Fortunately only minor damage resulted. Only hurt feelings and a whole lot of embarassment!
