Play a DVD movie in a 2017 VIEW?

I inserted a movie DVD in the entertainment center. It loaded. The audio played but no visual on the salon TV. The manual seems to indicate it should start automatically. My question is: Is it possible to play a DVD movie on the salon TV? If yes, how? If no, I'm a dummy.
I have been trying to do this for about a week... very frustrating.
Thank you.

Is there a list of input "sources" located somewhere in the TV Setup Menu?
Maybe that needs to be adjusted from Antenna/Air/OTA to Aux Input or something like that?

I have the same issue in my 2018 View; I get sound, but no picture. The manual says it should work, but I asked a tech to look at it last time it was in the shop, and he said there's no video running from the entertainment center to the TV. I'll try running an HDMI directly and see if that works.

no experience with that RV but there appears to be some note of DVD wiring on this drawing?

Sometimes, an HDMI cable can go bad, and sometimes, unplugging the HDMI cable and re-plugging it can fix a problem. Unplug and re-plug both ends, to be sure.

Note to think about?
How good is the tech who sees an HDMI but says there is no video feed to the TV?
If we understand what was said, I might question his knowledge base!

Like others said it's possible the correct input is not selected. You will still get sound as there is a separate sound option for the TV through the stereo speakers. Do you have the stereo/DVD player that is separate from the TV and mounted in the wall? Can you post a pic?
