Onan Gen - type of oil and how offen?

I run Full Synthetic SAE 5W-30 in the 5.5 Onan Genset, HGJAB-A. They say to change every 100 hours, and I change the filter.
Was wanting to hear from you’ll on what you’re doing?

I keep a spread sheet on all regular maintenance items. I use Mobil 1 0w-40 and I change it and the filter every 100 hrs or 1-year which ever comes first.

It really helped to get an Onan Oil Filter wrench. It makes getting the filter off so much easier.

I got an Onan branded one, the one in the photo below is some other brand but probably just as good.
