nose cap/headlight question

my 1st post on the site! anyway my question is i have a 97 adventurer and was wanting to update the front end. is the nose cap replaceable with a different/newer model or is there a headlight assembly that would fit the hole to replace the original unit?

I'm not familiar with your coach, but generally the headlights come from production vehicles.

For instance, my 02 Dolphin's headlights are from a chevy astro, and the taillights from a ford E150 van.

Look closely at the headlights at the bottom for a TYC number. Mine are TYC 20-3177 and TYC 20-3178. Google that number and you can figure out what the headligts came from. After that the web is your oyster, hundreds of updated replacements available for almost any light.

its just a square sealed beam headlight with a seperate yellow marker next to it. im wanting a headlight assembly to fit in the rectangular hole there to make it look like a newer rig, or replace the whole nose with a newer one if possible

Oh, I see. Does it look something like this?

...if so, it might be a challenge to update. I'd imagine you'll spend more replacing the front cap than the coach is worth, jmho.

Again, the trick will be to find out if those came from a production vehicle (I bet they did). Once you know what they came from, you should be able to find aftermarket upgrades.

You'll probably have to remove them and find numbers in the plastic to google.

You might try working with a body shop that can handle custom fiberglass work. It would probably be cheaper to modify the existing fiberglass. Find some headlights you like and let the shop find a way to mount them and blend them in.

You may want to check out precisionpaintingrv.com and go to there drop down menu and click on services.(Install molded headlamps) Also on that drop down menu there is "virtual tour" that has a link to custom fabrication. They're in Indiana but maybe give them a call and see what they can do for you. Good luck.
