No basement heat

I currently don't have any basement heat and very little heat flow coming out of the bedroom and bathroom ducts (vents). Any suggestions as to why there isn't any heat or very little air flow - this is heat air zone #2. Zone one works extremely well.

Are you talking about your propane furnace? If so, do you have any other propane appliances and do they work? What is the voltage of your house batteries showing on your one place meter? Is air blowing out of the floor registers continuously or just for a few minutes?
If you have aquahot or something like it, forget all that, somebody else will have to help with that.

If yours is like mine, viewing the furnace is next to impossible, but I would attempt to check if the ductwork has came apart from the furnace; or a rodent has chewed it through. If low-voltage was the problem the sail-switch would prevent the furnace from lighting.

I am getting heat into the coach, just not the basement. Could basement heat only be coming from the engine?

I have a Fleetwood and not a Winnebago so be warned. Typically if you have two furnaces the rear furnace will have a duct going to the basement. If you get heat into the coach from the rear furnace but not into the basement I would think your basement duct is either blocked or disconnected.

I would agree that the ducts are blocked and or restricted some how, taking it to the local dealer on the 30th - I will post the results when I get them.

46490, look under the bed there should be 3 hoses coming from the rear heater. One of those hoses feeds hot air into the floor and connects into part of the under structure square tubes then there are some small ducts that feed off of the tubes into the basement in three places.

Where I am located, my internet is too slow to pull diagrams. Use your IE browser and pull the parts catalog for your coach from the Winne web site, resources.

Is your coach out of warranty?

Had a similar problem in our 2011 Tour 42QD, zone 2 had no heat while zone 1 was working fine. System used a AquaHot and it did not matter if I was heating with electric or diesel. The CW shop found that the inline check valve was sticking closed for zone 2. The check valves are inside the aquahot and can sometimes stick closed if not used in a while. Sometimes tapping on the check valve can jar it free and restore normal operation. May not be your issue, just something to consider.

Update - The technicians found a metal heat tube under the bed with 1 and 1/2 inch holes. They covered some of them and installed a baffle in the duct for the bathroom and now zone 2 heats the basement and the coach properly. Thanks to all of you who had very good suggestions.

Where did the holes come from? I am so glad that you found a RV service department that actually solved your problem.
