This is a good time to look at what YOU actually want to do before deciding if A move is right for you as we often have far different priorities and different ways to use the RV. some will camp without power a large part of their use and may need the ultimate capacity in their deep cycle batteries, while others will only rarely use them to the full capacity.
So part of the question has to be how much extra do you want to pay to have a small percentage higher capacity? When looking for info, I rarely take as the final answer, the info I get from a person selling a product. There is just too much self-interest involved!
I do not need the extra and find the solution that Winnebago offers is more likely to fit most of us.

There's not much added expense as long as you're buying new batteries anyway and assuming you have two 12 volt batteries now. For most rigs it's a pretty simple conversion utilizing the existing wiring, etc.

Even if the extra capacity isn't an issue, the golf cart batteries are tougher and generally will have a longer life than the typical 12v batteries found in most RVs.
