Misleading advertising
LiFePO4 batteries must be getting popular because I am now seeing advertisements for unknown brands, often at pretty low prices. But the winner in that category has to be what showed up in my email today.
Here are some screen shots:
Of course what caught my eye was the $200 price shown but if you read the advertisement carefully you find that $200 is NOT the cost, but the amount you can save if you buy more than 200 batteries. Why they sent this to me rather than, say, Amazon, I don't know, but this seems to be the most misleading advertisement I have seen in some time.
Still, the price at $650 each is not bad for Lithium batteries, although I have no idea why they would put a Lead Acid top on a Lithium battery.
