Looking for the MMDC

Well it finally happened to me, wouldn't you know it! My idiot lights started to chase each other around the dash. I've read that the MMDC has lost connection with the rest of the system. Where is the MMDC module on the 04 Meridian. Of course it's Friday afternoon (no calling Winnie until Monday) and I'm in Podunk Oregon. What does the critter look like and who hid it there? I have the dash cover off and only electronics I see is the PWB behind the idiot lights.

Other simptoms, all of the gauges work correctly, the useless freightliner display goes blank and the turn signal flashers work fine. All systems return to normal when the key is turned off and then on again!

All suggestions will be appreciated.

Looking at the Camp Freightliner manual, it shows the MMDC forward left of the drivers area. It also says "located by body builder at front of coach". I hope this is of some help.

Sheet 4 of the Front End Wiring Diagram http://www.winnebagoind.com/diagram/...ire_144979.pdf for your rig shows the MMDC module in the center of the right-hand illustration.

Some say that it's behind the dash and others say on the forward bulkhead, still looking. Things are not so bad, we found an rv park that has a great German restaurant co located with the camp ground. Good food, good beer, no MMDC yet.

HOORAA! Found the little critter! Applied advanced maintenance techniques, wiggled the plugs, both of them. Will see what happens tomorrow. Their serving cabbage rolls and veiner (sp?) schnitzel tomorrow.

Life is good. Thanks guys.

Where in Oregon ?? (sounds like just north of Gold Beach?) I am in Brookings and can help if you wish -- Fixed mine a while back-- BTW-- one problem that isn't readily apparent is that your odometer will not work while the MMDC is not functioning-- This is cumulative and will result in the ECC showing the correct mileage while the odometer shows less total miles on the coach--

Cannot be reset either--
