I replaced all the 1383 bulbs in our coach with the following LED off Ebay.

10x 1156 BA15S CREE Q5 12V 30V Car Wedge LED Reverse Lamp Light 35DI Bulb White | eBay

I think they were a little over 30 bucks for ten bulbs. The light is brighter and whiter than the 1383's and the pattern is more narrow. Depending on your application (distance from bulb to user/surface) the narrow pattern may be good or bad. The only area we found it an issue was over the dining table but still Ok.

I replaced most of the other bulbs in the coach with LEDs as well. The ones sold for RV/marine use are way too expensive for me. Most of ours came from Ebay or Amazon.
