Lightbulb Replacement 2006 Itasca Meridian 36G

I’m going to put some pictures of a light bulb that is over the Captains seat and blue out. I’d like to replace it and would order from Amazon if I knew what I was ordering. It’s a 12 V light. There’s a second one over the passenger seat. Any help or links to a place to order them would be appreciated.

I would drop the fixture and check for a model number on the base of the light. If you find one, an internet search might have bulb information.

If it can't be found. replacing the fixture is an option.

Forgot to mention in above post. I would likely replace with LED regardless; once and done. ... unless you're keeping it "stock".

Best to take it to a lighting store for positive ID. From the pic I can see it's a bayonet base. It is also parabolic in shape so it could be a PAR lamp or just an "R" lamp which means reflector (which it is from the pic, but a PAR lamp is also reflective). Both an R lamp and a PAR lamp will be followed by a number, the number is the diameter at it's largest point measured in 1/8s of an inch. So for example a PAR16 measures 16 eighths inches across or 2 inches.

Now all this being said, any bayonet base will work as long as it's 12 volts. It may be hard or impossible to find actual PAR/R lamps in 12 volt LED with a bayonet base, but there will be something available that will fit and project the light how you want it.

This one would probably work, and Satco is a decent brand that is sold in electrical parts houses. The 3000K color temp will give you a nice, natural light slightly cooler than the old incandescent which is around 2700K and a bit yellower. https://satco.lightingnewyork.com/pr...d48747c6d56d2c

BTW if you go with LED the whole reflector part becomes kind of irrelevant as the original reason for incandescent reflector bulbs was to reduce the amount of heat going into the fixture base and wiring.

Is there some reason for wanting to order them?
That seems to be a really awkward way to go on such a small part if we are near any kind of metro area!
For the common cheap things like light bulbs, I would just go to a bulb shop if I don't find it at some big box store like Home Depot, Lowe's , etc.
It removes lots of the hassle of getting the wrong thing as I can walk the old in, let them match it and try it in the fixture.

That leaves me out of the brain strain as I take it back in if it doesn't fit!

I have the same fixtures. I replaced them with LED bulbs You'll find the bulb style number is very faintly stamped into the metal base, just under the metal flange. The stamping on mine is "1383 Taiwan":
Amazon has several styles that will fit the lamp, as the base is a standard 1156 auto lamp base.
I added up my expenses. I've spent about $80 converting every incandescent bulb in my MH to LED in 2014, buying from Amazon, and only had one burn-out. I still have about 3 of each style left-over from each package.
