Li-BIM in 2003 Adventurer

Hello all,
I've added some BattleBorn batteries in my 2003 Adventurer 35u on the Workhorse chassis. Its been working great so far, no issues. Per BattleBorn's recommendation, I'm looking to add a Li-BIM 225. I think that I know what needs to be done, but I'm looking for any guidance from someone who has done this with a similar rig. Looking at the drawings I think I need to replace this device with the Li-BIM but I also need to get an ignition wire to it as well.

Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated.
Thanks

Also ... it is possible to fit a third house battery in the original location under the stairs.

The light gray box in the lower right corner is holding the Victron BMV-712 battery monitor shunt. I wanted to protect it from the elements that make it into the battery compartment.

JimStreit,

Did you ever figure this out? I'm looking for ad the BIM and not sure it's the solenoid that needs to be replaced.

Hi JLUSoCal,
I did get it figured out. It was the Battery Mode Solenoid that I needed to swap out. Its been working great, I just returned from a 5 month trip. One thing I really like is the BIM also checks the starter battery and will top that off if needed.

I'm attaching pictures of the original configuration and the new configuration.

Thanks Jim - appreciate the picture -will see if I have room to do the same. I think it will also protect the chassis battery - I see when I'm driving at 14+ volts with the solenoid, that is likely a bit tough and gassing the battery a bit faster.

I have a charger on the chassis battery and was thinking of AMPLStart but this as you said keeps it topped off when it's in my side yard.

Another win!
