Leveling panel not recognizing parking brake set

2007 Winnebago Voyager
Even though the parking brake is set and the light is on, on the dash; the Level Best 2000 control panel flashes red next to the Parking Brake label. It's not acknowledging it is set.
Is there anything obvious we need to be checking? I want to make sure it's not a brain fart on something not getting done correctly.

A quick phone call to Lippert Components may get an answer.
They own the Kwikee line,
