LED Turn Signal question

I have a 17NV. Instrument cluster is telling me that I have a right turn signal out. The signal on that side also blinks rapidly like there is a bulb out. However, all bulbs are working (blinking rapidly). The rear LED turn signal also works. Thinking possible flasher or that there is something amiss with the rear LED on the right side. Thoughts?

Could you expand the acronym "17NV" please? I'm lousy at guessing acronyms, although vanity plates are fun to try to figure out.

LEDs do not draw as much current and incandescents, so monitor systems can be fooled into thinking that a bulb is burned out.

The easy solution should be to change out the flasher module to an LED friendly one that will slow the flashing down to a more normal rate.

I assumed that Winnebago changed out the flasher when they put the Navion "box" on the chassis. I will call them to make sure.

I see he's got a 2017 Navion, which probably didn't come with LEDs in the lighting systems. So agree with SLOweather. There are also LED adapters that can make them appear incandescent. I think LED specialty shops, like this one, would carry them. It also explains why they do what they're doing....

Some of the automotive supply shops probably have the LED flasher modules, too.

So the RV has incandescent bulbs up front and LEDs in the rear. Since the left turn signals flash at the appropriate rate, and only the rights blink rapidly, can the flasher still be the culprit? Wouldn't both sides blink rapidly if the flasher were bad?

Maybe the LED flasher module, if it only has one, has failed? Or, it could have two?
Contact Winnebago support at [email protected] and ask them. Include your VIN and Winnebago serial number if you know them and they can look it up. Or, you could view the appropriate electrical schematics at the Winnebago website under Owners, and try to figure it out yourself.
