jumping chassis battery 2012 Vista 35F

Can I jump start my 2012 winnebago 35f with my car. My chassis batteries are completely dead and the coach battery is low. I would like to get it started to get the batteries replaced. I've had it plugged into 30 amp shore power for a couple days and still wont start.

Hi Geric,
Having your Vista plugged into shore power only charges your house batteries, but not the engine start battery. As you have had it plugged in for two days and the house batteries are not recharged, it is a good guess that those house batteries are shot.
Regarding the jump-starting of your engine start battery, I don't see any problem for you to try that.
Good luck; Eagle5

Have you checked the manual for info or recommendations on doing this?
Depending on the electronics onboard some of the newer units do not advise doing a jump start.

Here is the manual for the 2012 Vista.
On page 2-9 there is found an admonition to not push-start a Vista, which I found curious in that it is not possible to push-start an automatic transmission. Otherwise, no worries about the electronics.
FYI; Eagle5

Thank you all for the response. I know for fact the house batteries are toast. My bad for lack of maintenance. Lesson learned and will not happen again. Will be taking the coach to Eddy at San Diego Battery in Oceanside on tuesday. For batteries in the area he's the man.

Once again, Thank you for your input and info.
