Inverter standby?

The inverter panel says it's on standby, charge override. Generator is running. Everything in the rv works except the heat. How do I get the inverter to turn on

When the genset is running, the inverter is bypassed - same when plugged into shore power (generally, not always. There are instances when the shore power can work with the inverter). In fact, the generator takes precedence over shore power, too.

So if you want to turn the inverter on (why? since the generator is running???) turn the generator off.

What RV do you have? What year is it? What model? What inverter do you have? We really are taking shots in the dark without the details of what you have and are working with.

Please enter your RV's details into your Signature. It will be a huge help.
