Inverter for minnie winnie31g

I'm going to be purchasing a minniewinnie31g 2018 and I was ordering it with every single option that there was and one of the options is the inverter. One of the sales people I talked to said that the inverter would be a complete and utter waste of time on the 31g because it's 31g is so big. My question is is that true or is he just trying to get me to buy one from him that doesn't have every single option ....what do you think?
