StarGazer,
I cannot speak for any experience with LED headlights on motor homes or, regular vehicles. But, on our Honda Goldwing forum, some of the boys have tried them and, say they're not worth the money. They would not recommend it(them). But, I'm kind-of an LED guy. I've got LEDs all in the coach and in the compartments and, do some experience with them as complete tail light replacements.

Here's what I'm thinking of doing for our newly acquired '03 Jeep Rubicon. The aftermarket Jeep suppliers are touting some supposedly really nice and powerful LED headlights for Jeeps. I'm going to see if I can find one of these and do what I have to, to do a test at night of one vs my regular head lights. I don't know how I'll get one but, we'll see.

I just hate to spend the big bucks for something like that and then be disappointed with their performance and not be able to get money back.

I have them in my 2010 F350. Much brighter white light than the yellowish halogen bulbs. They are also brighter, but work better in halogen housings than HIDs so the LEDs don't blind everyone else on the road. Only complaint is very little difference between hi and lo beams, but the lo beams and fog lights together are enough in my opinion.

Heads and Fogs:

Headlights (low beam) only:

I have a 2000 Lexus RX300 with regular headlights and I also have a 2004 Lexus RX330 with LED headlights.

The LED's are a different color but other than that I'm not impressed with the LED's.

I wouldn't spend the money on them.
