Has anyone tried the Ecoflow Delta lithium battery "generator." I'm very skeptical of it, since it was a kickstarter item and they clearly exaggerate some claims--e.g. how quiet it is, and probably how quickly it recharges. But I could see some uses.
First, it could run your microwave and a few other things without starting up a generator. It's probably too noisy to leave inside though and do something like watch TV.
Second, at home I think it could easily run your refrigerator at night during a power outage, and maybe even run a forced furnace for a time. Periods when gas generators would be too noisy.
Third, what I would love it to do is what I've been looking for--surge power supplement for a 2,000 watt generator to start an A/C so you don't need a second one. I don't think this is quite there for that. The outlets are 1,800 watt with surge over 3,000, but they are ordinary 15 amp outlets. Also, while it can apparently function as a UPS (although perhaps not quickly), I'm not clear that it can provide the instant surge needed to start an A/C. Based on Youtube videos I clearly cannot run a 15k BTU A/C by itself, and even if it could the life would be limited.
