I managed to fry my Dimension 12/300 inverter. I was playing with the batteries, reversed polarity (a real no-no) and everything went dark. Luckily every other system in the Adventurer recovered. I needed to replace the 2 fuses in the converter. But the inverter does not want to recover...my question, best place to replace the inverter? I'll be up in Redmond at FMCA and thought I might look for another one there. Your imput is welcome. Thanks, Gary

Are you sure it doesn't have an internal control board fuse? I have no drawings, so short of cracking the case...

It has a BIG stick saying there are no serviceable parts inside the case. Strange, I read that, but didn't follow basic directions installing the battery. Gee.

Bah... There's always servicable parts inside. They just require a little solder..

Is your coach sitting on a railcar?

The factory will rebuild a (2000) inverter for $471, probably less for yours. They will not send schematics to anyone. Been there done that. Good Luck

Most of the time it is a fuse that is blown. I replaced one last winter in my 2002 Journey. A big dealer wanted 100 dollars to replace one fuse.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to take the opportunity to replace it with one of the Xantrex true sine wave inverters. Your electronic equipment will love that nice, clean true sine wave power.

You can get this much larger Xantrex unit for under $350
