DC Generator Wire from House Batteries

Hello all.

I have a 2018 Minnie Winnie 26A. Stock generator and no ATS. I’m in the process of upgrading to LiPO4 batteries and need to move the battery bank to the rear cargo (both for weather isolation and size of new bank). As such, I am assessing what I can reuse or replace. I’m going to change the battery disconnect from the existing relay operated to a manual high amperage switch on the battery bank.
I’ve figured out what all the wires in the existing battery compartment go to; EXCEPT the large red power wire with green end. The wiring diagrams say this go to the generator. The generator is an AC generator and no DC, that I know of. Before I do some dirty wire chasing, anyone know where this wire goes and what it does?

Could it be for the generator starter motor which is DC? It looks a little smaller gauge than the other red wires and that would be appropriate for the lower draw of the generator starter motor.

Disconnect it and see if the generator starts or not.

While the generator does only output AC, it does use DC for starting.
Wiring diagrams on newer RV are not very complete but there has to be a DC power cable to the starter on the genset. Perhaps check the generator starter solenoid at the genset for a matching grn marked cable?

Ahh. That makes sense. Trying to find out what can go and what has to stay. I’d say this is a stay. Now to track the control wires to the solenoids.
Thanks!
