Steve,
Thanks for the info. Yeah, I think once I figure out whether or not the batteries are any good, I'll have to modify my storage routine. As far as the dealer allowing the batteries to go bad, I'm afraid I ordered my coach, and picked it up from the dealer the day after it arrived. So afraid I can't blame them for too much on that one...

Just thought I'd put some closure on this topic, just case someone else is, or ends up, having the same issues. Dealer found that the rear house battery actually was leaking. Now, don't know if my overcharging could have caused that or not, I wouldn't think so though. Anyway, dealer replaced all house batteries but I paid the difference to have AGM's put in while they were at it (put in Optima Blue Top D31M's), chassis batteries were okay, left them alone. However, to help avoid future problems, I also had 3 110w solar panels installed. Two wired to the house batteries, and one wired to the chassis batteries. So far so good, batteries are always charged and the only time we plug into shore power is if we're actually staying in the coach overnight.

Alan,

Thanks for the conclusion to this thread. It was helpful.

P.S. When I do shut off the engine batteries with the 'guest' switch I also have to reset my Freightliner date and time.
