Coax cable input

I have a 2013 Vista 35B.My cable coax lines seems to be corrupted. I input at the back of the coach and scan for channels on both tvs. I do get some channels but the picture is pretty grainy....seems the signal has degraded somewhere along the line in the coach. I cannot access the line anywhere to check. So i am hoping to bypass the coach by running the coax directly thru the window....BUT i cant access the coax input on the tv -wall mounted TV!....can only access the HDMI port. Now what? Is there a coax to hdmi converter?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

motohomo you must switch off the power to the over the air antenna for the cable signal to work. There is a wall plate with a small button and led on it. Push the button and the led should go off. Remember off of cable and on for OTA TV.

I can't speak for your wiring, but one thing that is often missed is that if you have an antenna power booster, the power should be turned off. Having it 'on' interferes with cable signals. Should usually be only 'on' when using the off-the-air antenna. (Pg 8-3 of owners manual.) Might want to check that setting before moving to the next step.

Grtharris and emiddleb: i have turned the antenna off...doesnt make a difference. Im thinking maybe there is a loose connection at the splitter? But where is the splitter? I took the back bed apart to try and find it to no avail

motohomo There is not a splitter between the wet bay and the OTE power plate.
There is a splice in the coax in the wall above the One Place panel. The cable TV coax is the one with the red band.

I opened up the panel and see the cable with the red band is spliced but no splitter. Everything was tight. I did unscrew and retighten. Thanks

I can't tell you how many times I experienced a lousy cable signal from the post at a campground. About 50/50.

I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but have you checked to see if the TV input is set on cable? I've failed to do that several times.

Well there ha go! Time to call in the pro with super tools.. Cuz the only easy stuff is,
- OTA antenna on
- TV input not set to cable vs antenna
- bad signal from post
- bad connection at coach bay entry. Try a different cable from source into coach..

You never mentioned that you checked or replaced the cable from the coach to the cable feed? Sometimes it stares us in the face and we still miss it.

Sorry, when i referred to OTE, i was talking about the control panel in the mid coach. Maybe i used the wrong term, i thought someone had referred to it as that earlier. I dont what the BOMB is??

It is the wall plate with the switch and LED for the OTA (Over The Air) antenna.
