Clear/Gel coat 2016 Sunstar LX

I replaced the porch light on my 2016 Sunstar LX with a slimmer LED light there is a spot about 1"x 4" That does not have clear/gel coat on it. Covered by the original fixture but shows with the new one. Is there repair kit for this that

Your Sunstar doesn’t have gel coat or clear coat on its sidewalls. That material is Filon which is a thin fiber reinforced plastic sheet. If it’s not shinny in the newly exposed spot try buffing it with auto wax.

Buffing is probably the key. But I’m no expert on this. I just know it’s not gelcoat. I guess it could be a painted on clear coat if your Sunstar had full body paint. I didn’t think of that previously. If it’s clear coat on a full body paint job then you could check with an auto body paint supplier. They have aerosol cans of spray clear coat.

I should have mentioned that it is full body paint. I'll check with the body shop we used to repair our last rv.

You’d think the porch light would have been removed from the coach before the clear coat was applied. Surprised that it wasn’t.

Yes I was also. I can put a less expensive light on that will cover it but has less lumen output. We camp alot in winter and need the extra light.
