I have a Itasca 2005, 33V, I am looking for the pre-wired CB wires that are suppose to be beneath the dash to the left of the steering wheel, with connectors and flag labels. Well I have looked through my dirty glasses and cannot find them. Can anyone give me some hints where they may be located.

Larry,

They are usually bundled together in a clear plastic bag. And, of course, stuffed behind everything else in the area. Usually the clear plastic bag will catch your eye. Good luck...

Do you have an CB antenna? If so, keep looking. If not, your unit is not wired for a CB.

Up on the firewall,on the driver's side....Mine in the Journey were not in a plastic bag,but they were wrapped TIGHT along with the bundle of other wires....The only thing that "caught my eye" was the RG59 antenna connector in the bundle....took some real looking and the DW holding me by the ankles as I dangle over the pilot seat and under the dash.

Your coach may not have been "pre-wired" for Cb if you can't find any sign of these wires.

Look behind the fuse block. They are stuffed back there in a plastic bag.

I had to take the fascia panel of the fuse block loose to find mine, only thing I managed to do before that was scratch the daylights out of my hand and feel a lot of wires. Once the panel was off (only two or three screws as I recall) the bag was right there.

If you have he antenna on the roof it is pre wires. The wires are in a plastic bag to the left of the steering shaft. It will be the only plastic bag you will find. So just look for the bag.

I have an Itasca 40 AD and tore the entire cockpit apart to find the lead. I went as far as to bet a friend who knows these Coaches inside out. I finally found it tied to the wire bundle that passes through the floor and into the elecdtronics bay below the drivers feet. Good luck!

To All

Thanks! everyone for providing "Hints" where the CB pre-wires might be located. I finally found them. They were in a plastic bag, but tucked in far behind the fuse panel. Had to use a bright light to locate them.
