Bedroom TV Removal

Have an issue with the tv in the bedroom, need to check the connections on the rear of the tv.

The tv is mounted within the cabinet area between the shirt closets. I have searched for a way to access the rear from the closets to no avail. I have also tried to “release” the mount by reaching under the bottom of the tv as I’ve done on a previous motor home I owned. I couldn’t find a release. The mount is fixed and does not swivel.

There is not a frame around the tv the surrounding wood is all part of the cabinet wall. I’m stumped anyone have the solution.

Some have a v-shaped channel at the bottom to tilt the TV into and then at the top there is a second metal strip screwed to hold it in.
Any chance of getting fingers in or seeing some screws near the top back side?

Is there an open space or drawer below the TV? If so look for bolts and nuts protruding from above. If you have these showing then unbolt them from within that space below. You may find the bolts holding a solid metal panel with the TV hard bolted to that panel.

Winnebago is known to ignore simple, common VESA TV mounts and custom make rigid metal mounts in their cabinet shop at the factory.

Update

Around the tv there is 5/8” on each side and 3/4” top & bottom. Under the tv is an open area for a satellite receiver or vcr. Nowhere surrounding the t v can I find any screws or bolts. Can’t get fingers in the sides and only a short distance top and bottom.

The connections are all on the right side of the tv there is cabinetry between the tv and the shirt closet. The only “opening” on that side of the closet is an electrical box. I haven’t tried removing the electrical box as I believe it’s connected to the electrical box inside the tv cabinet.
Don’t want to mess with electric
Will try to get a photo posted

As usual, Richard is correct. From the diagrams, it looks like there are 5 screws at the very top behind the tv that hold the Winnebago fabricated TV mounting plate. If you can get in there to remove those screws, then the TV and mounting plate lift up slightly and can be removed from the cabinet.

Yep, I found it in the 3D parts catalog.

Here's a screenshot of the mounting plate

The 5 screws at the top need to come out - and then the mounting plate should lift up vertically out of that metal strip at the bottom.

Here is a link to your 3D Parts catalog:

Took a bright flashlight and looked over the top of the tv, saw the 5 screws.

Thanks also for the link to the parts catalog, have them downloaded on the home computer in Florida but we’re on Cape Cod for the summer, using the iPad and phone.

Tv works but need to check the hdmi & coax as I sometimes have to push on the lower right corner for the cable to come in. Mildly annoying !

Late to this party, but I have the same setup for my Main TV in 29ve. My Insignia failed during warranty ands Winnebago wanted to replace, but I did not bother, I bought a 40" Samsung Smart TV with WiFi when I tried to reinstall, I had to cut that bracket that mounts on the back of the TV so I could access all of the connections. My wife thought I was going mad cutting up a the new RV

I like the bracket as it is very stable. Ours is cut at an angle so it is perfect viewing from anywhere in the main coach.
