Awning remote control

I recently acquired a 2005 Adventurer 35A.
It has a remote for the awning. On that remote are 2 buttons for door (open and close) What door does it control? I can hear a faint click when pressed but can't locate it.

Is it trying to control the awning function?

It's referring to an awning over the entry door, typically on a front-entry coach. With a mid-entry coach I suspect that you don't have a separate door awning.

Not possibly misreading and it means open and close the awning or are there more buttons for a separate function? Not familiar with an awning remote but see no reason they would combine awning and door control.

Sorry. Should have been more specific.
The remote has two functions, first is open and close the awning, second is door open & close. The awning responds with open and close. What does the door open and close do?

My WeatherPro awning remote has Open/Close buttons labelled 'Patio' and 'Door' and operates my two awnings, one over the right side of the coach and the other over the entry door at the right front of the coach.

I suspect you have an identical remote but only a single WeatherPro awning, so that the 'Door' function doesn't do anything (except perhaps trigger a relay in the awning control box).
