Another question on DC-DC chargers...

I have a 2003 Sunova 27C that I am planning to install Solar on soon. I purchased a pair of Lion Energy UT-1300 batteries (Lithium 105AH each) to replace the failed FLA batteries that where in it. I just ordered a Victron Orion 12/12-30amp DC-DC charger. I have been reading and studying everything I can find but still confused on connections. I am not concerned about the battery boost function.

Can anyone tell be exactly what needs to be connected and disconnected to allow my batteries to charge while engine is running and not drain my cabin or starter batteries when it is just sitting?

So confused and I consider myself ok when it comes to electricity, at least AC systems!

Thank you in advance, so much knowledge out there

John
