Amber clearance light

I need to find an amber clearance light for a 2013 Itasca Sunstar 35F. It is a Triplex 122y-ac. Winnebago says it is obsolete. Any help would be appreciated.

Try SuperBright in both their RV and Truck sections. Not the cheapest but their products are excellent quality.

Ed-

Are these the lights at the top of the coach or along the side?

Would the 1200A from Peterson Manufacturing work? I realize it has mounting screws that go through the face, unlike the originals (the 122Y-AC made by Glo Brite).

If it was I, and the PM ones would not fit, I'd find any clearance light that did fit the mounting holes and use that.

Hi,

I can't believe that Winnebago says the light is obsolete on a 2013 coach. Who did you talk to at the factory? I realize they get those lights from vendors but unless the vendor is out of business you should be able to get one either from WBGO or any auto store.

Amber clearance light

Thanks for all the assistance. I was told by the parts department at a Winnebago dealer that the clearance light was obsolete, according to Winnebago. I probably need to contact Winnebago directly.

ladagobago-

It's nice to have the manufacturer's catalog page (and phone number), but my hour's search on the Internet didn't give any place from which you can buy the part. Perhaps you have found some sources?

Of course it is NICE. I too have spent a lot of google time for the OP. Getting the part, picture and place of mfg is a good starting point. Many MH motor home MFG's used this product and many are looking for replacements.

From all that I have found with the product including the part number 147680-01-01A, There is little to be found as the manufacture has ceased business. I would suggest looking for a complete replacement product and modify the MH with another light assembly. This subject has been going on since 2010 on many forums. You could try Lazy Days parts in FL.

THIS from the forest river forum: Just bought 122Y from Blake Sales in Chicago. Phone 773-927-3350. 122Y lens only sold with Base. 122R available as lens only.
or
a Sunseeker with the same light covers. They are oval amber clearance light covers, part number 122Y-55AC. Contact Forest River and talk to Cameron Bigler 574-206-7600, email [email protected].
and he should take care of you. Those lens covers are made at a local factory in Elkhart, IN and are very hard to find. Hope this helps
or
Unfortunately after 66 years glo-brite has gone out of business, but I will keep looking at the other sites. Thanks for all your help.

ALSO this from our OWN forum: http://www.irv2.com/forums/f101/clea...ts-291891.html

When looking for replacement may I suggest GROTE. http://www.grote.com/product-categor...marker-lights/
Still looking and I find that blake sales 800-621-8526 may be a good reference

Clearance Lights - Conversion of 193 1W lamp to LED

Has anyone retrofitted their clearance lights from the factory 1W lamp (# 193) to LED, what LED lamp did you find to work and the source for ordering?

Thanks,
Mark

Sounds like that dealer is unconcerned about a small order.

Sorry to resurrect this thread but I'm giving this one last shot. I have scoured the internet for an amber lens replacement (Glo Brite 122Y) with zero luck.

Has anyone at all found a source for these lens ? The red ones seem to still be available but amber, for some reason, is not.

Mine was broken by the previous owner but is still usable to a degree. A piece at the bottom of the lens is missing so they wrapped black electrical tape around it and it stays in place. Has anyone ever tried those repair kits for a missing piece ? This would be curved and an edge. I hate to waste $10 just to find out it won't work.

Has anyone found a method to replace the missing plastic ??
