2022 Winnebago+Adventure Wagon 4X4 battery issue

Overnight my chassis battery died. I jumped it and got the Merc. Sprinter running. Now it won’t shift. I disconnected the chassis battery and waited 10 minutes. Reconnected and it will start but not shift.
¿Thoughts?

Auxiliary battery under passenger seat? How long have you let things charge? You don't give us any clue as to what year the chassis is but assuming it's NCV3 here is some info, VS30 probably the same, low voltage is the culprit meaning battery needs to be fully charged, battery is bad or alternator is bad:

It a 2022. I let the van run for an hour to charge the battery. Waited 20 minutes and disconnected the battery and fuse 32. It still will start but no shift.

The auxiliary battery normally keeps memory alive and allows the transmission to shift out of park, it may have also gone dead. I would put a charger on the charge points under the hood and charge it for a good long time. If that doesn't work the battery may need to be tested although you did say it starts the van which makes me suspicious of the aux battery.

There is also a fuse for the aux battery but I don't know which one it is.

Do you have a way to measure voltage with the engine running?

I disconnect the battery under the drivers seat by using the chassis battery connector.

I thought if I disconnected the battery it would clear the codes or limp mode.

Thanks for the information.
I’m going to run the motor to make sure the chassis battery is fully charged.

The aux battery, if charged, keeps memory alive so if that is your goal you'd need to pull the fuse for the aux battery also when you disconnect the main battery.

Of course that's not possible in your case so best to use a charger overnight.

Winnebago.
I bought it “new” from La Mesa RV Davies, FL. this July.
Drive home to WI, around town and now in Colorado Springs.
This is the first problem that I’ve had.
I thought the Lith battery in the back(says it has 2 days of charge in it) would keep it charged overnight.
Woke up to a dead chassis battery and the Lith still with 2 days of charging available.

I looked at the 2wd version in Fountain, CO. in July for 80K.
Then found the 4X4 version in FL.

Still flummoxed on why the Lith in the back doesn’t provide overnight charging to the whole tamale.
Live and learn.

That's a fairly new option on Sprinter based RVs that as far as I know is only supplied on the newer Airstream Interstate and Atlas models.

I will run a line from the Lith in the back to a trickle charger on the chassis battery.

I keep one of these on mine. I put a permanent cord on the battery terminals that comes out by the front bumper and I just plug it in. It has a storage mode so no worries about over charging. I've been plugged into it for 4 years now whenever we're not on a trip.

OK, I got it now. That was a limited edition RV made in conjunction with “Adventure Wagon,” a company that also makes RVs that are sold as Adventure Wagons. I remember some videos on YouTube about them.

Lots of unique features like soft sided and movable upper “cabinets” hung on rails on the walls.

And the RV’s 12v electrical system is a 3.6kWh EcoFlow® Lithium Generator. I can’t find any info on how the EcoFlow is connected to other parts of the Sprinter Chassis. Is the alternator supposed to charge the EcoFlow when the engine is running? Or is it completely separate of other systems?

Perhaps it might be helpful to contact Adventure Wagon for more info?

Their website shows the exact same Sprinter, EcoFlow setup. Perhaps they can offer some info. I’d say they would be much more likely to know the system than just about any Winnebago dealer.

And, as suggested above www.Sprinter-Source.com/forums is the place to turn to for Sprinter related issues.
