2015 Tour 42qd - Sconce Light Bulb Replacement

i have the 921 bulbs. Old bulb is out but neither one of us can put the new bulb in because of lack of space inside the wall sconce.

Any suggestions?

I think I have similar scones and bulbs. I changed mine to LEDs and had very similar issues. My big hands couldn't fit in the part of the cover than tapers down.

First I removed the glass and put the bulb in and replaced the glass but that was a pain. We have two of these in the living room and two smaller ones in the bedroom.

I ended up using need nose players with some cloth around the bulb so I didn't break it.

Here are the two smaller ones in our bedroom... are yours like this?

Mine are smaller. The glass starts out at the base about 1 inch or so and proceeds upwards extending out and the top is about 2 to 2 1/2 inches. I barely got my fingers in there to pull the old bulb out. Earlene could not get hers in there to put the bulb in either. I ordered and received an automotive bulb puller with the rubber tips and I'm going to try that. Just a matter of getting the right "round-tuit."
