Google Search Schwintek Slide or Schwintek Slide Troubleshooting and study the information you find. The system is very problem prone on longer slide outs, it is operating at or beyond it's design limits.
There are very specific methods to lubricate the bearing blocks so they can move and follow the tracks so the slide can move freely in and out. If the bearing blocks bind and can't move and follow the tracks then the aluminum tracks and or the drive gears that are in the wall (in the bearing blocks) that turn in the tracks can get torn up and cause operational problems (because the gears are not fully meshed with the track) and eventually failure.
There are very specific recommendations on how to open and close the slide where you need to hold the open / close down for 5 seconds after the slide stops moving to make sure the two ends completely open or completely close to keep the slide in alignment.
The system can get out of alignment if you release the switch mid-travel either opening or closing.
There are troubleshooting guides that go into detail about procedures to use when normal operation is not happening.
