We have a 2008 TOUR 40TD. It has a 12 volt outlet on top of the dash near the windshield. Plugged in a GPS charger and the outlet went dead. Searched and cannot fine a fuse for this. Any help would be appreciated.

Just thinking off the top of my head the fuse may be in the compartment below the driver's side window. I'm at work so I can't go look but I think that's where those fuses are.

Sometimes the male plug (on your charger) unscrews with a fuse inside the plug. Are you sure the receptacle is dead?

There are fuses and breakers in the outside compartment below the drivers door. The fuses all looked good visually. The outlet is dead after checking it with other 12 volt devices known to work. Maybe I need to take the top off the dash to see if a wire is burned or the socket is bad. Will still be searching for the solution. Also, check out your wiring diagram. One big advantage of owning a Winnie product is easy access to various resources (wiring & plumbing diagrams, etc.) I printed out the complete set for our coach and keep them in a drawer.

My 12V outlet went dead a while ago. I have the lift-up instrument panel. I found an electric lead (spade connector) disconnected from the 12V plug assy (on the back of the plug). Reconnected, & good to go.
