I am getting set up to replace the entire headlight housings on my 2007 Journey i have contacted Winn and they have no R&R procedure it looks like there is only 3 mounting/adjusting bolts on the inside of the housing and the outside has two pivot prongs that fit into rubber grommet lined holes so im thinking that if a guy was to remove the three nuts ,the housing adjuster cables and unplug the wire leads to the bulbs that the entire housing will be free does anybody out there have amy experience with this project also i found somewhere on the site that the housings are from 96 to 98 Pontiac Grand Am is this correct the housings can be found on Amazon for about $120 for the pair thanks for your time
X2, have 2005 Journey which uses same headlight structure ad 2007 and need to work on the the cable adjuster which is not usable along with regluing one mounting point and upgrading bulbs so anyone that had R&R headlight assembly, your direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, randy

I got to doing some more research and the housings are available for the 96-98 grand am for about 1/2 the cost of the housings described for the moho but they could be missing brackets i havent recieved the ones i ordered
I have ordered replacement headlight units for other vehicles and generally there are no brackets included just the plastic headlight unit the includes ones that I purchased from oem.

My 2005 journey is in storage with a cover on it till April or whenever it thaws out here in MN. Since the 2005-2007 headlights are from a 97-98 Pontiac grand am I am wondering if they are held in place same way Pontiac did it. Watched a video from aauto.com replacing the headlight on a grand am and in that case it is held in by 2 plastic clips that just pull up. Since I won't able to check let me know if that is the case. Thanks, randy
