My 'new' 2002 Sightseer has seen a number of workmen recently. Actually, it looks like the rig spent its last few years rented to refinery workers. The combination of shag and Linoleum is all coming out ...BUT, I need to figure out a way to not upset the CO everytime the rig has work done.
After putting in some new frontend parts to pass Maryland inspection. I got an alignment done at my local International Truck dealer. (the only local option) I like these people, they worked on my '66 Intl Travellall years ago. But, they don't use surgical shoe covers, nor should they be expected to. This was some Sunbrella canvas I had around and will use it as a pattern to make up something more durable and that fits the motor box better.
Great interim solution. You are right, although most of us leave our shoes at the entry steps, repair folks won't. Even on our tile, we put some kind of protective covering down. The constant war on dirt, especially with our preference for boondocking, was a prime impetus to our stripping all carpet and going vinyl tile throughout.
