Looks like the leg of some type of appliance...dishwasher maybe.....with an adjustable leveling leg.

Put a ruler next to it so we get some idea of size. Or tell what bolt size and thread count.

Its about 7 inches overall. the lines in the picture are 12 inches apart. I just bought this 2013 with 2350 miles on it and I can't imagine it fell out of the suspension. It is right behind the front axle. i have not moved the RV in 6 weeks. Don't have any idea where it came from. I ran it today when I got back to Florida and it sounded great. did not drive it yet. just happened to spot the thing under the Rv today.

The threaded portion looks like an adjustable standoff for a vehicles hood.
Something wiggly when closed?

That seems like a good guess. It's too lightweight to be a slide stop or anything like that. If it is related to the hood, it's probably one of a pair so it would be easy to confirm.

Agree, an adjustable stop or standoff. Winnie just glues these thing together, and some time the parts are not prepared right. I had to reglue a fog light. Others have had hoods and panels fall off.

It fell off the inside of your front cap from the area behind the door that you can unlock and swing down. The epoxy bond between the metal and the cap fail and the darn things fall off. It has happened to many of us. I had one of the big ones that the ends of the door close against fall off last year. Annoying.
It looks like the middle one the door closes against at the top.
I now have nylon straps on all of them tied to the F53 front structure so that if another one falls off it not fall to the ground and be lost going down the road.

It fell off
Thanks to all.... It was one of the four adjustable stops for the hood. Can't believe they would glue/fiberglass that heavy metal part on the inside of the front end.
Is there a fiberglass/metal adhesive that would repair it ???
I was also thinking of making brackets to reinforce it.

I just made the repair with two pop rivets per side. There is one stop on each side at the top of the generator slide.

I had to fix ours on the coach in our signature. I started with gorilla glue construction adhesive and that did not work, because it doesn’t really harden and it’s more like a rubber. I went with a general construction adhesive and that works fine and has held for two years.
Could not use rivets or through bolts because they would show on the front end.

Frontend
It is for the hood for sure. I have a 2013 Vista that the whole frontend came loose on the drivers side when a semi went by me. I went to Walmart and bought some gorilla tape and taped it back in place and drove it fromTexas back to Florida. It was a $3500.00 dollar repair. Winnebago told me because I was the second owner they would not cover any of it even though they knew they had problems with the epoxy they used.

I think I'd use 3M VHB tape and pop rivets or screws.

To those who are reluctant to use screws or pop rivets to fix this issue really should rethink their opposition. The screw/rivet heads are so small as to be virtually invisible, especially with a paint touchup.

I've used Loctite PL 3X Construction Polyurethane to reattach a few brackets between the raw fiberglass and steel. Clean mating surfaces before use. Clamp or tape in place. 30K miles later, everything is still tight. I carry a tube in the toolkit. The stuff is magic.

The glue that holds the hood to the body on my 05 Suncruiser failed last year.
I used stainless steel screws to attach the hood bracket to the body and JB Weld to reattach the hood latch to the hood. The stainless screws are mostly covered when the hood is closed and the JB Weld will need another application.

Well Sir,
Maybe you got a bad tube of that Gorilla stuff. I used it for reattaching the left headlight bracket to my '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the CAT C-7 and, that was about 10 months ago and it's holding like a rock. And, it's HARD. It did take about 24 - 36 hours to fully cure but, once it did, I'd have to tear off the whole fiberglass around it to get that bracket back off.

One of the hood latches fell off my 2005 Voyage. I reattached it with J-B Weld. I drove about 50,000 miles including a trip to Alaska and it never broke off again.

Just remember, there are a lot of different kinds of pop rivets. They are made from different kinds of metals (aluminum, stainless, etc.) and in different sizes, including larger head diameters for a given size. Some are waterproof, etc. The commonly found, aluminum pop rivets aren't the strongest fasteners in the world, so choose carefully.

Winnebago has a history with gluing parts that should be mechanically fastened. There are quite a few posts on another forum discussing body parts coming loose on the highway. It would be upsetting to have bought a $300 k diesel pusher and have to deal with issues like that.
