Water leak/damage?

Hi! I am brand new to this board, hopefully I am posting in the right place. If not, please let me know if I should be posting on a different board/thread.

My husband and I just bought a 2016 View 24J and are so excited. The unit seemed to be very well taken care of. We live in Washington State and bought it from someone locally who kept it outside without a cover (yes it rains a lot here).

We have it parked in our driveway so we can keep it plugged in to electricity, and have a dehumidifier running all the time. We have a friend with an RV who suggested this since Washington is a very wet state.

We had a lot of rain over the weekend, and I went in the RV today to put some things away and noticed a spot on the fabric area by the front door (see pic). It is definitely wet to the touch near the bottom, as is the carpet. It's not sopping wet, but definitely wet to the touch if that makes sense. The other side is similar but not as bad. Could this be a potential leak? We were planning on covering the RV once it stops raining, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
