Water Damage in Slide

Hey All,

Has anyone ever run into water damage that has delaminated the plywood in the floor of their slides? I have a 31BHDS that has severe water damage to the slides? Unit is under 1 year old and I am being told by my dealer that this won't be covered by warranty. Someone on here must have run into some similar situations.

Any Advice?

I always check my slide seals when setting up. They have a tendency to roll and not seal properly, especially if you stop or change direction during slide extension. Slideing a yardstick or simular object between the slide and the seal will usually straighten them out.

Did they explain why it’s not covered? I’d start there…
