Wardrobe sliding door

The sliding door hanger in my Suncruiser broke. Does anyone have any idea how to remove it? Wheels don't lift out of track and the rest looks like it holds frame together. Good one on right.

Had the same issue. You have to unscrew and rotate the hanger so that the lower tab comes out of the slot. It does not come out easy as you also have to deal withe the upper tab which hooks over the top. FYI, the replacements sold are not exactly the same dimension. You may have to cut off the top tab so that the new one can be screwed into the door.

How did you get the wheels out of the track? I can't get them out to work on the door.

Sorry for the delay. The old hanger can be removed by rocking it back (up) once you remove the screw and rotating the lower tab out of the slot. The replacement you have is identical to mine. You will note that when attempting to install it by reversing the removal procedure, the screw hole will not line up because the distance b/w the hook angle of the top tab and the screw hole is slightly off. The lower tab just pushes straight in to the slot.

Thanks for quick response. How did you get wheels out of track? Do you have to take track down to run wheels out the end?

No, you can easily remove the hanger once released from the door by simply rocking the unit backwards. The roller will exit the channel

It's a frustrating PIA projecting that makes sense only after you've done it

Sorry for the delay, life gets in the way.
Finally got around to replacing the hardware today. Thanks to everyone's suggestions, it was a snap.Tapped the old one a coule of times with a hammer and it slid right out of the slot. Put the new one on, screwed it in place.
