Hi all got a question i need help on. Some where I saw a thread about how you get info from your vin number for any thing that has to do with your motor home. This info would be much appreciated Thank you in advance wd9bob
Not sure what you are looking for. However; I have previously had a good experiance e-mailing Winnebago with my questions. For parts, Lichstenn motors has been able to find what I needed given my vin#.
and select the year and input the last 5 digits of your Winnie Serial # you get a web page that you can save which has the specific parts used to build your RV, right down to the nuts and bolts.

I think you will find that the vin will tell you very little. The only thing useful will be chassis type and engine size. Everything else was added by coach maker. If its a Winnebago, be sure to have the serial number available when calling.

Winnebago uses an ID number that references a build list that has all of the info about your motor home that Winnebago built on the chassis. The ID number can be obtained from Winnebago by asking them to cross it to the VIN. Is that what you are asking about?
