Viair & valve stems

I just tried to use my Viair 450p-Rv for the first time. I couldn’t attach it to the valve stems as there isn’t enough clearance past the rim to attach the hose. Any suggestions for valve stem extensions? I’m worried if I try to bend the existing stem I’ll break it or the seal.

If that's a trim ring that it's sticking out of, how difficult is it to remove?

I noticed recently when on their site that RVIBrake sells a 1 inch valve extender.

That looks like it will run square into my hubcap. Without a 45 degree bend, I have to take my hubcaps off any time I want to add air to the front tires.

Tool the hub cap off and was able to sit the outside tires.

I bought a couple of rubber valve extenders that are 8 inches long and sold on Amazon for $9. I can use them to inflate the inner tires with the Viair connector and take them off the rest of the time.
