Ultrafabric warranty extension

Our class A seats are covered with Ultrafabric’s Primera material. It is failing after 27 months so I called Winnie after someone responded to my thread on iRV2. The tech confirmed that my coach, which is a 2017, is covered by a three year partial warranty extension due to a manufacturing defect. I need to take pics of the seats and then Winnie will work with UF and get new seat covers sent to us. We have to cover the install cost.

So, if you have any UF material, whether it is Primera or the Ultraleather, that is failing it may be worth a call. As I said, mine is a 2017 and the other person on iRV2 had a 2016.

I finally got around to emailing Winnebago about 10 days ago. The new seat covers arrived about 5 days later. Now to do the installation.....

Apparently the manufacturers recall expired. So...Someone from Winnebago parts emailed us to offer half off the retail to purchase new covers, and of course we would have to get them installed.

Heck of a thing though....just the replacement covers for the driver's seat were quoted at $800.00 not including the Install. I found places online where we could purchase brand new seats for less than that. ☹️

Sorry. I was worried about that given your year. I’m not a fan of this fabric and would have had an independent shop replace with something else had I got new covers.

That's the plan for over winter this year. I'll post pics when it's done!
