Have a 2008 Sightseer with Ultra leather up front. I'm assuming the dash is the same material(??) How do I clean/protect the dash? Don't want to make it shiny like the Armor all does. Will the 303 Protectant work? What about vinyl cleaner?

Thanks to all who take time to share their knowledge.

Purple Slice does a super job on my dash and ultra leather chairs, ....and everything else I have used it on!

PURPLE SLICE

Good luck - Glenn

I was told to use Dove soap, and it seems to work.

Better solution might be what we did for our coach. We purchased a cover for the dash from Sun Tek (888-834-0764). They come in various colors and are custom made for your coach. You tell them what year, and modell of coach and they either send you one, or if they have never made one for that type of coach they will send you material to make a template, and when you return the template they will custom make it. As I remember it cost around $200.00, it has a rubber type backing.

The cover protects the dash from scratches from our kitty, and it looks great.

FWIW, UltraLeather is not leather. It's a synthetic material.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

* Cleans effortlessly with soap and water.
* Air Dry or dry quickly with warm setting of a hair dryer.
* Lifts most stains with alcohol-based solutions like Fantastik®-Formula 409®
* Disinfects with 5:1 bleach solution.

Unfortunatly Suntek is out of business as it was. Last I tried they were trying to make a go with products out of Mexico.

To answer the original quesitons. Yes, a vinyl cleaner would work, as pretty much everything else that has been mentioned would. And 303 would work very well, AND would help protect it from UV damage much like a dash mat does.
